Zack began his career building automated portfolios at a hedge fund in 2011, then went to Universal Music Group, where he focused on digital distribution deals, CRM and integrated marketing systems. He then went on to oversee e-commerce and growth for Stadium Goods, bringing them to over $300M in revenue in less than 3 years. In 2016 Zack founded The Maze Group, a highly technical strategic consultancy focused on data architecture and growth marketing. Maze now oversees technological transformation for private equity owned and public clients like LVMH, HelloFresh, JC Penney, General Electric, and Xponential Fitness. They have worked with funds such as L Catterton, Brentwood Associates, TPG, The Chernin Group, VMG, OpCapita, HGGC and more on diligence and value creation for their portfolios.
