Yaakov Sheinfeld is a partner in the New York office of Milbank and a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group. Mr. Sheinfeld represents major investment banks, institutional lenders and private equity firms in origination, modification and workout of mortgage loans, mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments, as well as secondary market transactions covering repurchase/warehouse financing and the acquisition and sale of all debt tranches, including whole loans, mezzanine loans, preferred equity investments, junior notes, participations and CMBS bonds. He also regularly handles equity transactions (including multi-tiered joint ventures) and serves as counsel to both purchasers/borrowers and sellers of commercial property in all asset classes on individual asset and portfolio transactions.
