Uwem is a Partner in Ernst & Young Strategy and Transactions practice, serving both private equity and corporate clients on ‘buy’ and ‘sell’ side transaction financial due diligence. He has extensive experience performing quality of earnings analysis, quality of working capital analysis, net debt and debt like items analysis, synergies identification, and purchase price negotiation for both strategic and private equity deal participants. Prior to Ernst & Young, Uwem was a member of the Transaction Advisory Practice at Duff & Phelps, where he performed financial due diligence on ‘buy’ side and ‘sell’ side mergers and acquisitions. He began his professional services career at PriceWaterhouse Coopers, where he was a member of the Risk Assurance practice. Uwem is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the International Institute of Internal Auditors. Uwem holds Master of Science, Accounting, and Master of Business Administration (MBA), Finance & Information Technology Management degrees from the Jindal School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas.
