Bio

Mr. Kobayashi joined Bain Capital Private Equity in 2008. He is a Managing Director in the Consumer, Retail & Dining and Healthcare Verticals and a member of the Asian Pacific Private Equity team. Mr. Kobayashi has played a leading role in building our deal sourcing activities in Japan. Prior to joining Bain Capital Private Equity, Mr. Kobayashi was a project manager at Accenture strategy group where he consulted in the consumer brands, retail, and pharmaceutical industries. Previously he worked in the consumer retail division in Mitsubishi Corporation. Mr. Kobayashi received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BA from Keio University.
