Raamdeo, co-founder of MOFSL, is one of India’s premier investors with investing experience of more than 30 years. Raamdeo pioneered the concept of equity research by an Indian brokerage house when he commenced the equity research practice at MOFSL in the early 90s. Raamdeo’s keen appreciation of ‘value’ has had a tangible impact: he has been an early investor in several small and mid-cap companies that subsequently grew into leading large-caps. In addition to being a highly successful investor, Raamdeo is also a successful entrepreneur, having built MOFSL from scratch into a multi-location and multi-business financial services conglomerate. The result is that he combines a unique understanding of value-drivers with a first-hand understanding of the challenges faced by small to mid-sized companies.
