Nand Khemka is the Chairman of SUN Group and has led the global expansion of the business from its inception. Due to the company’s significant early investments in Russia, a country where he first established business relations in 1958, he became the first Indian businessman in history to receive Russia’s highest civilian honour, the “Orden Druzhby”, (Order of Friendship). He was also honoured by the Government of Iceland with their highest civilian honour, the Knight’s Order of the Falcon. Nand Khemka has been on the executive committee of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). Nand Khemka received an MBA and an MA from Columbia University. He has been on the Board of Overseers of Columbia Business School for over 30 years.
