Mr. Friedman is a Partner and Managing Director in the Growth Fund. Prior to joining L Catterton, Mr. Friedman was Co-Head of Goldman Sachs Investment Partners (Growth Equity Team) focused on investments in consumer technology and enterprise software companies. While at Goldman Sachs he invested in companies such as Plaid, Spotify, Uber, Pinterest and thredUP, among others. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Friedman was a private equity investor at Bain Capital focused on technology investments. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Friedman was a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group focused on advising the firm's clients on strategy, operations, marketing, finance and due diligence. Mr. Friedman earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He earned an Honors Business Administration (HBA) degree from Richard Ivey School of Business at University of Western Ontario where he was the Gold Medal recipient. Mr. Friedman is from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and resides in Miami Beach, FL.
