Ian has been with Aquiline since its launch in 2005 and leads the firm’s business services and credit practice. Ian is a board member of ABC Legal, Consilio, Ontellus and Surepoint. Additional notable investments include Wellington (sold to Truist in 2020), Beach (sold to Acrisure in 2018), Simply Business (sold to Travelers in 2018), and Wright (sold to Brown & Brown in 2014). He also sits on the investment committees of the AFS and ACO fund families. Prior to joining the firm, he was a policy analyst with the Office of Development Studies at the United Nations Development Program.
