Gaetano Carrello focuses his activity on finance, debt capital markets, restructuring and real estate. His clients include leading Italian and international banks, private equity funds, hedge funds and corporates. Before joining the Firm, he was a partner in Dewey & LeBoeuf and formerly practiced at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Chiomenti Studio Legale, in Milan and London. He is mentioned as one of the leading lawyers in Italy in the finance sector by leading directories and publications. He is a regular speaker at conferences and a contributor to the International Financial Law Review. He holds magna cum laude degrees in Law from the University of Milan and has been a member of the Italian Bar Association since 2000. He holds an LL.M degree, with honors, from the University of Cambridge. He speaks Italian, English and Portuguese.
